Author Kelley

Author Kelley, 53, of Dyersburg, Tenn., formerly of Southeast Missouri, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, in Dyersburg. Born in Steele, Mo., he was the son of the late Junior and Esther Peral Casteel Kelley and had lived in Dyersburg since 2009.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, David Kelley, and a sister, Della Lee Kelley.

Survivors include four sons, Author Ray Kelley, Jr. of Cooter, Mo., Junior Lee Kelley of Steele, Mo., Billy Carlton of Bragg City, Mo., and James Frazier of Dyersburg, Tenn.; two daughters, Stacy Gagle of Armorel and Mary Ann Martin of Caruthersville; four brothers, Clarence Kelley of Granite City, Ill.,

Charles Kelley of Blytheville, Randy Kelley of Lepanto, and Anthony Kelley of Monette; a sister,

Mary King of Monette; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville. A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
