Thanks to those who cleaned up neighborhood

To the editor:

To the churches and everyone who worked so hard cleaning up our neighborhood: I would like to give each of you a big hug and say thank you, thank you. You folks really worked hard and did a wonderful job. May God bless each of you.

To the landlords with these old empty houses boarded up and grown up -- why don't you give them to somebody who could fix them up and have a home? They certainly aren't doing any one any good like they are.

We live in the city where it's supposed to be nice and clean. I saw yards and alleys I haven't seen in years. Thanks to everyone who worked hard making it happen.
