Rodney Earl 'Ronnie' Brown

Mr. Rodney Earl Brown, 63, of West Memphis, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, in Memphis. Born Sept. 9, 1947, in Tupelo, Miss., to the late Melvin Brown and Ruby West-Brown, he was a retired truck stop manager.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Brown' and one brother, Dwight Brown of Aberdeen, Miss.

Mr. Brown leaves three daughters, Andria "Dee Dee" Hodge and Kate Elizabeth Brown of West Memphis, and Angela Rena Yant of Aberdeen, Miss;

One son, Jeremy Brown of West Memphis;

Four sisters, Dorothy Faye Robinson of Jonesboro, Shirley Jean Morris of Gilmore, Joyce Patsy Williams of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Linda Gail Cox of West Memphis;

One brother, Donald Wayne Brown "Bo" of Heth; and

One grandson, Chase Dalton Yant of West Memphis.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Grace Baptist Church in West Memphis with Eugene Ray, David Young and C.J. Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. The family received visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Grace Baptist Church in West Memphis.
