Bessie Mae Evans Tankersley

Mrs. Bessie Mae Evans Tankersley, 77, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, in her home in Osceola. She was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Osceola.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Augustus Tankersley.

Mrs. Tankersley leaves two daughters, Nettie Coleman of Luxora and Sarah Coleman of Memphis;

Two sons, Curtis (and Linda) Campbell and Levi Campbell of Osceola;

Two god-daughters, Beulah DePriest of Jonesboro and Deborah Moore of Osceola; and

Seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola with Dr. Moses Black officiating. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
