Mr. Dennis H. Williams Sr., 78, of New Albany, Miss., died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Miss. Born Dec. 14, 1932, in Senatobia, Miss., to Oscar and Clydie Williams, he lived for 25 years in Blytheville and worked for NIBCO Corporation. He was most known for his love of people and most of all, his love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Diane Williams; five brothers, J.T. Williams, J.W. Williams, Robert Williams, Charles Williams and Emmit Williams; and a sister, Garna Mae Harris.

Mr. Williams leaves his wife of 33 years, Delsie L. Williams of New Albany;

Three sons, Dennis H. Williams Jr. (and Linda) of New Albany, Jimmy D. Hudson (and Ruby) of Pontotoc, Miss., and Roy W. Hudson (and Sandra) of Pinedale, Miss.;

Five daughters, Teresa Johnson, Sharon Wingo, and Lora Cobb of Myrtle, Miss., Jane Perkins (and Stanley) of Pinedale, and Margaret White of New Albany;

One brother, Eugene Williams of Phoenix, Miss.;

Two sisters, Juanita Manues of Batesville, Miss., and Lucille Crowe of Greenville, Miss.; and

Seventeen grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

The family received visitors from noon-2 p.m. today at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Funeral services thereafter with Bro. Jerry Hooper and Bro. Charlie Ransier officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
