Tom Wesley Humphrey

Mr. Tom Wesley Humphrey, 76, of Tyronza, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born April 19, 1935, in Monette, he was a steel mill worker and of the Baptist faith.

His parents, James and Ruth Humphrey, both preceded him in death; as did one son, Mark Wesley Humphrey; and one brother, Carl Humphrey.

He leaves six sisters, Claudine Perkins of Columbia, Tenn., Willie Mae Kimberland of Paragould, Bobbie Jean Fountain of Florence, Ala., Ruth Farmer of Commerce Township, Mich., and Sue Turner and Audrey Tyler, both of Lepanto;

Two brothers, James Doil Humphrey and Emmitt Humphrey of Metamora, Mich.;

One grandson, Keith Humphrey of Carterville, Ill.; and

One great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Thursday at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with Bro. Langley officiating. Burial will follow in Potter Cemetery in Lepanto with Wilson Funeral Home of Tyronza in charge of arrangements.
