Archie Dennis Young, 56 of Jonesboro, Ark., formerly of Osceola, Ark., died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, in Branson, Mo. Born in Osceola, he was the son of the late Archie Dennis Young, Jr. and had lived most of his life in Northeast Arkansas. He was an Iron worker for Zachry Construction in Atlanta, Ga., and had been a resident of Jonesboro the past five years.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Ann Williamson Young on Oct. 2, 2002; his grandmother who raised him, Lizzie Young; and a sister, Donna Barron.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis Cole Young of Jonesboro and Robert Tyler Young of Pocahontas, Ark.; his mother, Mary Pauline Dawley of Chino, Calif.; his step-mother, Marie Young of Jonesboro; five brothers, Lonnie Franks of Booneville, Miss., Winston Young of Baldwyn, Miss., David Young of Jonesboro, Sam Amerline of Chino, Calif., and Alan Dawley of Anaheim, Calif.; four sisters, Vivian White of Proctor, Ark., Paulette Dawley of Walnut Shade, Mo., Cindy Masters of Mendsville, Pa., and Lisa Blair of San Diego, Calif.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2 in the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with William White officiating. Burial followed in the Manila Cemetery. The family received visitors Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until service time.
