Paula Jean Easton

Mrs. Paula Jean Easton, 60, of Paragould, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark., after an extended illness. Born June 24, 1951, in Paragould, Ark., she was the daughter of Rayburn and Betty Hahn Johnson and was a longtime Paragould area resident. She attended Greene County Tech School in Paragould and was a homemaker. Mrs. Easton was an avid bowler and was very active in the ladies auxiliary and the VFW #2242 where she served as District 3 President.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Johnson of Paragould, Ark.; three sons, Tim Easton and wife Lena of Marmaduke, Ark., Brian Easton and wife Lisa of Paragould, and Jessie Easton and wife Donna of Portland, Ore.; two brothers, Gary Johnson of Paragould and Danny Johnson of Pine Bluff, Ark.; six sisters, Rita Johnson, Rose Rogers, Debbie Mangrum, Sandy Brothers, Ruth Johnson and Donna Eaton all of Paragould; five grandchildren, Dustin, Andrew and Emmy Lou Easton and Jade and Zackary Moore. Mrs. Easton also leaves a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. Easton was preceded in death by her father and her husband Harold Easton.

Graveside services were 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at the Greene County Memorial Gardens in Paragould with Rev. Rudy Ring officiating. Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Ark., is in charge of arrangements.
