Nancy Ann Tomlinson

Mrs. Nancy Ann Tomlinson, 78, of Three Rivers, passed away Monday, July 25, 2011, at the Fairview Living Center, in Centreville, Mich. She was born March 26, 1933, in Pocahontas, the daughter of Edward N. and Hazel V. (Bates) Shivley Sr.

Mrs. Tomlinson graduated from Blytheville High School with the class of 1950. On June 4, 1950, she married the love of her life, Mr. Bobby E. Tomlinson. She was employed at Continental Can, Bob's Men & Boys Wear, and as a clerk with the city of Three Rivers, until retiring in 1992.

Mrs. Tomlinson was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, three children, a daughter, Nicki L. Adams;

Two sons, Robert E. (and Julie Lynn) Tomlinson, and Dan W. (and Amy Lynn) Tomlinson, all of Three Rivers;

One sister, Marylynn Holloway, of Texas;

Two brothers, Nick (and Carolyn) Shivley of Arkansas and Von Shivley of Tennesee;

Three grandchildren, Kelsey Marie, Maggie Diane and Robert E. Tomlinson III; and

Very special friends, Mike and Brenda, Aaron and Adam Fleckenstein, as well as Joe and Rhonda, Luke and Jordan Rider.

Per her request, cremation has taken place.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Riverside Cemetery in Three Rivers with Pastor John Hill of the Newberg Norton Bible Church officiating.

Memorials may be donated to the Newberg Norton Building Fund with envelopes available at the Hohner Funeral Home in care of her arrangements.
