Jimmy Lynn Hodge

Mr. Jimmy Lynn Hodge, 65, of Bassett, died Friday, July 15, 2011, in Etowah.

Born in Blytheville to the late Otis Hodge and Helen Yarbrough, he was a retired cotton gin worker.

He leaves behind two sons, David Hodge and Blaine Hodge of Marion;

Seven sisters, Peggy Brown of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Shirley Moreland of Etowah, Linda Ricketts of Brandon, Fla., Ruth Glasgow of Gaffney, S.C., Jo Ann South of Lepanto, Patsy Jane Teagan of Plymouth, Mich., and Sandra Harris of Germantown, Tenn.;

Four brothers, Bobby Hodge of Glendale, Ariz., Billy Hodge of Jasper, Mo., and Danny and Larry Hodge both of Wilson; and

Three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wendesday at the Church of Christ in Wilson with Wayne Hodge officiating. Burial will follow at Bassett Cemetery in Bassett.
