Lillie Ovella Isebell

Lillie Ovella Isebell, 87, of Blytheville, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born in Moundsville, Ala. to William Lee and Lillie Robert Coleman Griffin, she was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She loved gardening and enjoyed visiting with people. Her ability to love people went far beyond the homemaker and encompassed all those around her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Isebell; daughter, Jean Sanders and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Wanda Sharp of Etowah; Linda Henson and Carol and Bill Walls of Blytheville; Jesse and Shirley Isebell of Manila; and Joe and Janet Isebell, Jr of Highridge, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren and a special friend, Lora Anderson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 1 p.m. in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Mr. Greg Groves officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until time for services. A private burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
