Larry Floyd, 55 of Blytheville, died June 30, 2011, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born in Blytheville and raised here, he was a truck driver, and had worked to the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department for 23 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lenzy Collins and Marie Floyd; his sisters, Doris, Joyce, Catherine, Linda and Sharonda; and his brother Roy.

Mr. Floyd leaves his wife, Earlean Floyd;

A daughter, Cassandra Floyd of Blytheville;

Three sisters, Patricia Lumpkin, Betty Webb and Carolyn Webb, all of Tulsa;

Four brothers, Robert (Melinda) Webb and Alexander Mathis of Blytheville, John Lumpkin of Memphis and Parnell Jefferson of Tulsa;

A granddaughter, Skinesha, of Blytheville; and

Many cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Burton Furlow, will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Temple Church, the Rev. Leon Chew, Pastor. Burial will follow at Memorial Park.
