James A. Howerton

Mr. James A. Howerton, 58, of Leachville, formerly of the Blytheville area, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011. He was born in Mississippi County Dec. 4, 1952, to Edna R. Howerton and James E. Howerton.

A sister, Renee, and a brother, Glenn, preceded him in death.

He leaves two sisters and two brothers, Judy and Carolyn of Murray, Ky., and David of Joiner and Duane of Tulsa, Okla.

He will be missed and loved by all.

He was taken by lung cancer and his body is to be donated to an Arkansas medical school.

A memorial service was provided by N. 10th Street Baptist Church in Blytheville by his niece and nephew, Felicia and Matt.
