Earline J. Huey

Mrs. Earline J. Huey of Rogers, formerly of Blytheville, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011, in Rogers at the age of 98. Born in Mississippi County Jan. 9, 1913, to Charlie and Bertha Brock, she was mother of four children, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Wayne Huey; one daughter, Barbara Jeanette Huey; one grandson, Michael Wayne Huey; and by her husband of 38 years, Freeman Brice Huey.

Mrs. Huey leaves two daughters, Delonia J. Gray and her husband, Ray, of Rogers, and JoAnna Hawkins of Albany;

One sister, Bessie Aycock of Doniphan;

One brother, Jack Brock of New Mexico; and

Many nieces and nephews.

She was very loved and will be missed by all.

Earline taught Sunday School for many years at First Assembly of God Church in Blytheville, and was a beautician in Blytheville for several years. She was an active Christian for many years and we know the angels rejoiced when she entered the gates of Heaven. We love you, Mom.

Service was at Greenlawn Funeral Homes in Springfield. The minister was Chuck Bengston, pallbearers were Ronnie Narx, Brice Narx, Michael Narx and Steven Narx.
