Mrs. Lillian Eva Walker, 90, of Meridian, Calif., formerly of northeast Arkansas areas including, Gosnell, West Memphis and Manila, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at the Willows Care Center in Willows, Calif. Born Oct. 7, 1920, in the Brown Spur Community near Manila, she was the daughter of the late James Wesley and Myrtle May Robertson and was a 1939 graduate of Manila High School. She was the widow of Mr. Aubrey Walker and had been a northeast Arkansas resident for most of her life. Following the death of her mother, she lived with her aunt and uncle, Homer and Marie Robertson. She was a retired licensed practical nurse and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Manila.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

She leaves her son, Jimmy Walker of Yuba City, Calif.;

Two grandchildren, Mary Beth Nienhaus of Ashland, Ore., and Cynthia Walker of Meridian, Calif.; and

Eleven great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. Doyne Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in the Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 today at the funeral home. Guests may register at www.HowardFuneralService.com
