Volunteers make charitable clinic work

Monday, June 6, 2011

To the editor:

I would like to thank all the great men and women that have volunteered to make the Great River Charitable Clinic a blessing to so many people who don't have medical insurance. You see, this clinic doesn't just help you medically, but is also helps out spiritually if you want it.

You see, the first time I went to the clinic I was sick, and I remember Bro. Mike coming around shaking hands with everyone, and just a kind word and handshake from him made everything all right.

And all the volunteers give up their time and come out to help people that need it. You cannot ask for a better town to live in. It reminds me of the love of Jesus. I am also grateful for the pharmacy workers, they work very hard to get everyone their meds. And the doctors that take good care of us all. I am also thankful for my doctor, Valarie Woodruff, who keeps me in good health, and don't forget Mrs. Connie Ash, the woman that goes above and beyond the call of duty. When the clinic is closed you can always call Mrs. Connie Ash -- thank you for all your hard work.

There is a list of names that helped make this clinic what it is, and if I forgot your thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks to you all and God continue to bless you as you are a blessing to others.
