Dale Dewayne Forsythe, 49, of the Tyler, Mo., community, died Saturday, June 4, 2011, at his home Born in Blytheville to Holford Clifton "Buddy" and Ruby Rosetta Lumdsen Forsythe, he was a farmer most of his life, and was of the Church of God faith.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and he especially loved coon hunting with his son and his dogs. Dewayne was a loving husband and father, and loved working on the farm.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Roger Dale Forsythe.

He leaves his wife, Lori Welch Forsythe, and his son, Jonathan Forsythe, both of the home;

His brothers, Clifton Eutah Forsythe and his wife, Shirley, of Cooter, Troy Forsythe and his wife Dixie of Steele, and Roy Forsythe and his wife Wanda, of Tyler;

His sisters, Alma Fournier of Bakersfield, Calif., Mary Franklin and her husband, Harvey, of Tyler, and Joyce DeFoe and her husband, Jim, of Blytheville.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Baptist Church in Blytheville, with the Rev. Mike Welch and the Rev. Gary Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Number Eight Cemetery in Cooter. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Trinity Baptist Church. Condolences may be emailed to cobbfuneralhome@sbcglobal.net
