Charlyne Buckner

Charlyne Buckner, 70, of Lepanto, died of respiratory failure Monday, May 23, 2011, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. Born June 5, 1940 to James Cypress and Daisy Ruffin in Tunica, Miss., she was a retired LPN.

Ms. Buckner leaves her daughter, Wanda Clower of Lepanto;

Three sons, James B. (and Nevida) Cypress of Lepanto, Jackie V. Cypress of Lepanto, and Jimmy (and Pamela) Pulley of Poplar Bluff, Mo.;

One brother, James H. (and Ethel) Cypress of Somerville;

Ten step-grandchildren, seven grandchildren; and

Thirteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-noon Thursday at the Church of Christ in Lepanto. Funeral services, officiated by Brock Kendall, will begin at noon. Burial will follow at Pine Rest in Lepanto.
