Regina Lee Bandy

Regina Lee Bandy, 70, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, April 11, 2011, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born May 31, 1940, at Nettleton, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Kitty Josephine Knight Holt and was a longtime area resident. Mrs. Bandy was a member of the Southside Apostolic Church in Jonesboro.

She enjoyed fishing, gospel music, reading the Bible and spending time with her family.

She is survived by five sons, Berry Lamberson of Jonesboro, Adam Holt of Alabama, Vurness Holt of California, Richard Holt and wife Candice of Illinois, and Dallas Holt of California; one daughter, Susan Regner of Illinois; three brothers, Lonnie and Curtis Holt, both of Jonesboro, and Randy Holt of Watertown, Tenn. Mrs. Bandy also leaves seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bandy was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Lamberson, one son, Bobby Holt; infant daughter, two sisters, Claudia Loggains and Marynell Moon; and three brothers, Ronnie Joe Holt, Sr., Edward Holt and David Holt.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at First Assembly of God on Stone Street in Jonesboro with Rev. George Ezell officiating. Interment was in the Pine Log Cemetery with Faith Funeral Service of Manila in charge of arrangements.

The family received visitors Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the church.

Pallbearers were David Holt, Ronnie Holt, Jr., Jerry Dunning, Ronnie McCoy, David Param and Adam Holt.
