Car Club helping fight cancer
To the editor:
The Cotton Classic Car Club would like to congratulate Linda Holland from Osceola whose winning ticket was drawn for the $500 raffle we gave away at 3 p.m. during Blytheville's Mayfest.
We would also like to thank everyone who purchased tickets! Our club is a non-profit community-oriented organization whose members volunteer many hours and give back to various local organizations. All of our members are active and play a vital roll in the Cars And Cycles Against Cancer show which will be held in conjunction with Relay For Life on June 10 and 11 at the Arkansas Aeroplex in Blytheville.
We would love for anyone who has a love for classic cars and to help to find a cure for cancer to come and join all of us that weekend. Anyone wishing to register their cars or cycles for this year's show can contact any one of our members for a registration form.
