Catherine Patterson

Ms. Catherine Patterson, 68, of Osceola, died Monday, May 9, 2011, at NEA Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born Oct. 11, 1942, in Hughes, to Major Patterson and Virginia Jones, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.

She was a retired cook and of the Baptist belief.

She leaves two sisters, Josie Hatfield and Mary Ellen Patterson, both of Osceola; and

One brother, Major Patterson Jr. of St. Louis.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola with the Rev. Bobby Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Whiteside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
