Mrs. Lila Mae Ross, 75, of Blytheville, died Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Born in Clarkdale to the late Joe Franklin and Rosa Davis Franklin, she was a homemaker and member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Nathan Ross;

Two sons, Leon Limpton and Danny Andrew Ross;

Three sisters, Mary Lynn Franklin, Martha Franklin and Mae Lou Franklin; and

One brother, Jonas Franklin.

She leaves six daughters, Louvennia Northern of Charleston, Mo., Debra Ann Hawkins and Bobbie Joe Clay, both of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Rose Fisher, Angela Ross and Ulanda Clay, all of Blytheville;

Two sons, Jessie Flacks of Charleston, Mo., and Alphanzo Ross of Lansing, Mich.;

Four sisters, Minnie Brown of Blytheville, Amy Johnson of Georgia, Betty Young of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Joe Lee Perkins of Colona, Mich.; and

Forty-seven grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lawrence Echols officiating. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
