Mrs. Margie Evelyn Hudson, 84, of Paragould, died on Monday, April 11, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Hudson was born Dec. 12, 1926, in Caruthersville, Mo., to the late Robert and Lily Queen Hudson. Mrs. Hudson was of the Pentecostal Faith, a longtime resident of Keiser, enjoyed watching soap operas, cooking, collecting angels and dolls, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Hudson; one brother Billy Boyd; and one sister, Marie McCollum.

She leaves four sons, Robert Hudson and wife, Shirley, of Paragould, Jackie Hudson and wife, Frances, of Keiser, Jerry Hudson and wife, Becky, of Keiser, and Donald Hudson and wife, Ann, of Drummonds, Tenn.;

One daughter, Glenda Cox and husband, Jimmy, of Leachville;

Three brothers, James Boyd and Kenneth Boyd, both of the Philippines, and Bill Boyd of St. Louis; and

A host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Christian Life Center in Brookland with the Rev. Scott Trayler officiating. A committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dogwood Cemetery in Blytheville. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Faith Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
