Mildred Cunningham, 63, of Blytheville, died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born April 24, 1947, in Luxora, she was a homemaker and a member of Greater Holy Temple in Blytheville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo Danley and Elnader Watkins Danley; and four brothers, Louis Danley, John Danley, Moses Danley and Alfred Danley.

Mrs. Cunningham leaves her husband, Sanford Cunningham of Blytheville;

Two daughters, Precious Brock (and Brandon) and Jennifer Cunningham, both of Blytheville;

One special niece, whom she raised, Bobbie Johnson of Blytheville;

One son, Sanford (and Shungetta) Cunningham Jr. of Blytheville;

Eight sisters, Doris Johnson, Elizabeth Robinson, Corine Ware and Lula Ross of Blytheville, Mordie Canada of Kansas City, Morliner Wilson of Memphis and Birdia Johnson of Kansas City;

Two brothers, Willie Danley of Blytheville and Lorenzo Danley Jr. of East St. Louis; and

Seven grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by Bishop Brian Olden, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Promiseland Church of God in Christ in Osceola. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
