Raven Shanise Wells

Tuesday, April 5, 2011

Ms. Raven Shanise Wells was born Oct. 28, 1979, to James E. Wells and one of three children to Tonya Stanford in Blytheville. She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age. She moved to Cleveland, Ohio to join her great-grandmother until her death. She was a loving mother and she was devoted to her children. She enjoyed being around family and friends. She and her sister, Ravion, enjoyed traveling to Arkansas when they were small to visit their father, brother and other cousins to play in the heat and just feeling freely at heart. She would just smile and kind of shy away when talking.

In October 2007 she took ill and for a period of years she was absent in mind to chat or laugh with her children and other loves ones, but all the time she fought a good fight while she was into another home until March 21, 2011, at Indian Hill Nursing Home in Cleveland. She moved out of both her earthly home and into her heavenly home.

Her maternal grandparents. William and Jean Stanford, paternal grandparents Willie James and Lula Mae Wells, great-grandmother Martha Weatherspoon, Otis and Ellen Stanford, preceded her in death.
