Willie Lee Johnson
Mr. Willie Lee Johnson, 54, of Blytheville, died Sunday, March 20, 2011, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro.
Born in Leland, Miss., he was a teacher's aid for the Blytheville School District and a member of Mt. Pleasant Church in Osceola.
He was preceded in death by her father, Will Johnson; three brothers, Robert Johnson, Clerance Johnson and Eddie Lee Johnson; and one sister, Rosie Lee Johnson.
He leaves his mother, Everlean Parker Johnson of Blytheville;
Four daughters, Trakeyla Rhodes (and Edward), Shaneakya Riggins, Ciji (and Terry) Thurman and Sharniece Johnson, all of Blytheville;
Two sons, Demetrius (and Starlia) Johnson of Indianapolis, Ind., and Shamel Ferguson of Marion;
Two sisters, Minnie Lee Johnson of Blytheville and Loucille Reese of New Bird, N.Y.;
Four brothers, Isaac (and Denise) Johnson of Kennett, Mo., R.L. Johnson of Blytheville, Willie James (and Paula) Johnson of Saqqarah, Mich., and Henry Johnson of Cape Giradeau, Mo.;
A special friend, Vivian Bonner; and
Seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Matthews Spiritual Temple with Bishop Greg Brown officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral on Saturday. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
