Elvira Camarillo Zamora

Elvira Camarillo Zamora, 75, of Caraway, died Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Jonesboro. She was born Jan. 24, 1936, to Damacio Camarillow Sr. and Maria Del Re Fugia Tijerina, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a Catholic.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Zamora; by one sister, Virginia Gaucin; and one brother, Jose Maria Camarillo.

She leaves four daughters, Rosa Maldonado of Del Ray Beach, Fla., Gloria Acosta and Linda Johnson, both of Caraway, and Mary Zamora of Jonesboro;

Three sons, Joe Zamora of Monette, David Zamora of Tampa, Fla., and Daniel Zamora of Caraway;

Two sisters, Antonia Vela of Kerrville, Texas, and Nicolasa Camarillo of Okeechobee, Fla.;

One brother, Damacio Camarillo Jr. of Okeechobee, Fla.; and

Twelve grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola with Bro Rick Stevens officiation. Burial will follow in Garden Point Cemetery at Etowah.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
