Mr. Royall Ozier, 74, of Oxford, Miss., formerly of Blytheville, a loving husband, daddy, and granddad, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Baptist Memorial North Mississippi in Oxford.

He was born Aug. 5, 1936, in Boydsville, and graduated from Rector High School and attended Arkansas State University. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Blytheville. He was also a licensed ordained minister.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lon and Mattie Ozier.

He leaves his wife, June Ozier;

A daughter, Lisa Griffis and husband, John, of Oxford;

A grandson, Peter Caleb;

Two brothers, Clint Ozier of Napa, Calif., and David Ozier of Jonesboro.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Piggott Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Bearden officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Jonesboro Church Health Center, 500 Kitchen St., Jonesboro, Ark., 72401.
