Cheryl Renee Penix

Cheryl Renee Penix, 31, of Leachville, died Friday, March 11, 2011, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in Osceola, she had lived much of her life in Manila and had been a Leachville resident for the past two years. She was preceded in death by her brother, Marty Eddings.

Two sons, Alexander Estell and Christian Estell, both of the home;

Three step-sons, Christian Chase Penix of the home and Jessie Penix and Joey Penix of Bono;

Two step-daughters, Casie Lynn Penix of the home and Catelynn Penix of Bono;

Her mother and step-father, Lavonda and James Newton of Manila;

Her father, Cletis Eddings of Manila;

One sister, Karen Henry of Manila; and

Two nephews and one niece.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. Lee Davis officiating.

Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Penix, Chad Penix, Woody Jackson, Chris Mitchell, Joe McQueen and John Crafton. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. View the online video and guest register @www.HowardFuneralService.com
