Shirley Belle Britton

Mrs. Shirley Belle Britton, 74, of Manila, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born Jan. 23, 1937, in Parma, Mo., to Earnest and Martha Hendrix.

She was a factory worker and a member of the Full Gospel church in Keiser. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Maxell Britton; by her parents; and two brothers, David Ray Hendrix and Homer Lee Hendrix.

She leaves one daughter, Patricia Mofield of Manila;

One son, Michael Britton of Normal, Ill.;

Two sisters, Frances Mitchell and Norma Anderson, both of Keiser;

One brother, Roy Hendrix of Bentonville; and

Four grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Mikey and Alex Britton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola with Jerry Weathers officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
