Dorothy Jo Stephens

Dorothy Jo Stephens, 56, of West Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Osceola, died of heart failure Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at Columbus Hospital in West Palm Beach. Born Dec. 5, 1954, in Osceola, she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Coleman of Osceola.

She leaves her mother, Joeann Willis Hister of Osceola;

Four daughters, Tonya Rattler and Angela Rattler, both of West Palm Beach, Denise Caruthers of Jonesboro, and Leslie Rattler of Osceola;

A sister, Carolyn Matlock of Lepanto;

Two brothers, Ronald Coleman and Donald Coleman, both of Lepanto; and

Fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

There was no visitation. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola, Pastor James Crockett officiating, with burial following in Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola was in charge of arrangements.
