Mary Ann Smith

Mrs. Mary Ann Smith, 73, of Gosnell, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at her home. Born in Ironton, Ohio, to Chester and Julia Easton Ravencraft, she was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW Auxillary of Ironton, Ohio, and the Gosnell Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, loved to dance and spend time with her family, especially at the lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves her husband, Jerry Smith of the home;

Her children Jeremy F. Smith Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, of Gosnell, Melissa Sellers of Gosnell and Todd Smith and his wife, Angela, of Jonesboro;

Two sisters, Janet Haynes and Kay Murdock. both of Ironton, Ohio; and

Seven grandchildren, Cristina Sellers, Matt Smith, Kelly Sellers, Megan Sellers, Steven Smith, Sean Smith and Blake Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eddie Clemons officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be e-mailed to cobbfuneralhome@sbcglobal.net
