Bonnie Lynn Ball Hill

Mrs. Bonnie Lynn Ball Hill, 81, of Huntington Beach, Calif., passed peacefully in her home with family at her bedside Monday, Dec. 27, 2010. Born May 27, 1929, she was raised in the farm community called Promised Land outside Blytheville. She and her husband moved to California in 1954 and have lived in Huntington Beach since 1963. She retired from McDonnel Douglas after 27 years. Since 1987, she has attended Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.

Mrs. Hill leaves by her husband of 63 years, Calvin Hill;

Two children, Teresa Parker and her husband, Bill, and Tami Dalbey and her husband, Steve.

She was "Mimi" to five grandchildren, Cory, Nick, Trevor, Spencer and Kaylin.

She is also survived by siblings Mary Turley of Little Rock, Barry Ball of Blytheville and Vivian Mahan of Buchanan;

Sister-in-laws Mary Jo Wilson of Forrest City and Debbie Ball of Milan; and

Brother-in-law Joe Gurley of Blytheville.

Funeral services were held Jan. 5, 2011, at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, with a reception immediately following. Graveside services were held later that day at Westminster Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Bill Welsh.
