Jerry Wayne Wright, 74, of Benton, died Jan. 19, 2011, in Benton. He was born Aug. 17, 1936, in Manila to J.C. and Dorothy Lee (Odom) Wright. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He loved horses, and motorcycles. Mr. Wright was a professional truck driver, and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Wright, of Benton.

Survivors include his long-time companion, Evelyn Costley, of Benton; mother, Dorothy Lee Wright, of Benton; daughter, Pamela Lynn Moore and husband Carl, of Osceola; two sons, Allen Wayne Wright, of Osceola, and Wesley William Wright, of Bono; a brother, James Larry Wright of Lexington, N.C.; a sister, J. Diann Duty and husband Jess, of Benton; four grandchildren, Misty Johnson of Osceola, Kristy Manuel of Keiser, Bailey Wright of Bono, and LaWanda Nelson Moore of Osceola; three great-grandchildren, Roy Johnson of Osceola, Kailey Manuel and Austin Manuel, both of Keiser.

He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.

There will be no public services. Cremation services will be under the direction of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home.
