Mrs. Nora Laura Anderson Williams, 93, of Wilson, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at her home.

She was an employee of South Mississippi County School District and a member of Wilson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years where she served on the Motherboard and as a Sunday School teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Williams; three sisters, Onie McGregory, Eunice McKinney and Ora Harley; and five brothers, Claude, Walter, Thomas, George and Dan Anderson.

She leaves two daughters, Helen Lavern Johnson of Chicago and Christa (and Gutner) Barnes of St. Petersburg, Fla.;

Four sons, Samuel Leon (and Mary) Williams and James Eddie (and Lois) Williams of Chicago, Roy Randolph (and Marjorie) Williams of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Albert Williams of Southaven, Miss.;

One sister, Juanita Woodard of Chicago; and

Twenty-two grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Chapel M.B. Church in Wilson. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola with the Rev. Waldo Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
