Lillian Belle Crump

Lillian Belle Crump, 95, passed away Sat., Dec. 19, 2010, in Jonesboro. She was born April 5, 1915 in Republican to the late John and Odell Reynolds Acre. Lillian was married to the late Aubrey Crump for 63 years. Mrs. Crump was a homemaker and an active member of the Monette Church of Christ. She also enjoyed sewing, needlepoint crocheting, cooking, helping others, and reading the Bible.

Survivors include one son, Ronnie Crump of Monette; three grandsons, Brandon Crump of Jonesboro, Donald Wayne Matheny of Crosby, Texas, and Brian Matheny of Louisiana; two sisters, Pat Nutter and Nina Nahlen, both of Conway; one brother, Harold Fitzgerrell of St. Louis, Mo., and a host of very dear family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Crump.

A celebration of her life was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 21, at the Monette Church of Christ with Art Smith officiating and interment in Monette Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 20 at the Monette Church of Christ.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were Jordan Wood, Colby Edwards, Ricky Copeland, Mike Burgess, Jay Hawkins, Kent Cullum. Honorary pallbearers were Red Palmer, Noel Eggers, Perry Wood, Wilburn Burgess and Lanny Million.

The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be given to the Children's Home in Paragould.
