Ricardo "Richard" Ortiz

Mr. Ricardo "Richard" Oritz, 30, of Manila, died Sunday, June 6, 2010, in an auto accident near Manila. Born at Blytheville, he was a lifelong Manila resident. Mr. Ortiz was a maintenance worker at Manila Nursing Center and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his parents, Rosario and Adela Quintana Ortiz of Manila; two brothers, Manuel Ortiz of Cancun, Mexico, and Tony Ortiz of Lawton, Okla.; two sisters, Nora Kirkham of Manila and Maria Johnson of Monette; three nieces ad six nephews.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with burial in Manila Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
