Charles Lewis Adams

Charles Lewis Adams, 61, of Manila, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, in an auto accident near Bay. Born at Tyronza, he had been a Manila resident for the past 29 years. He was a retired postal clerk and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of 36 years, Wilma Brumley Adams of the home; a son, Jason Adams and his wife, Erica, of Paragould; a daughter, Cindy Ray and her husband, Tony, of Manila; his parents, T.L. and Ruthie Adams of Bay; and five grandchildren, Luke, Ethan and Eli Adams and Brent and Lexie Ray.

Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his brother, James Adams.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Howard Funeral Service in Manila with Rev. James Chipman officiating. Friends may sign the guest register at howardfuneralservice.com.
