Shirley Bryant

Shirley Bryant, 71, of Manila, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at the Manila Nursing Center in Manila. She was the daughter of the late James Virgil and Thelma Pauline Mansell Rich and had been a lifelong Manila area resident. She was a retired nurses aide for the Manila Nursing Center and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Manila.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by a son, James Michael Bryant of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Terry Rich; two sisters, Dianne Fleeman and Phyllis Murray, all of Manila; and two grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service was held Tuesday, Sept. 8, in Manila Cemetery with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila. The family received visitors Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers were Randy Fleeman, Eddie Fleeman, Scott Fleeman, Bruce Kirk, David Kirk and Chuck Jackson.
