Ray O'Neal Presley, Jr., of Jonesboro, died Monday afternoon at his home. Born in St. Louis, Ray had lived much of his life in the Jonesboro/Brookland area. Ray was a Christian who enjoyed motorcycles and rock music. He loved working on classic cars and working in the yard with his flowers.

Ray is survived by his father and stepmother, Ray and Tresea Presley, Black Oak; his mother, Trudy Williams, Brookland; his sisters, Christina Presley, Black Oak, Pam Medlin, Brookland; nieces, Audrey Christiansen, Mallory Medlin, Laura Ann Presley; nephew, Alan Herr; great nephew, Gavin Ray Christiansen; and many, many other family members.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Glenn Presley, and his stepfather, Bill C. Williams.

Graveside services were 2 p.m. Thursday at Pine Log Cemetery with Larry Gandy officiating. Emerson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers were Willie Boatman, Jeff Lawson, Danny Christiansen, Tim Thompson, Jimmy Rodgers, and Jeff Miller.

Honorary pallbearers were Lonnie Rose and Billy Hill.

For lasting memorials, the family requests that donations be given to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
