Carrie Beulah Kelton Barnett, 86, of Osceola died Friday, March 27, 2009, at the Osceola Health Care Nursing Home. Born Feb. 20, 1923, in Salem, to William Albert Leslie Kelton and Irene Jane (Gardner) Kelton, Mrs. Barnett was a resident of Osceola. She was a member of Bethel Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ for 35 years and was very dedicated to the Lord. She was retired from American Greetings, loved Gospel music, was an avid gardener and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include four sons, William C. Reding of Jefferson, Ga., Thomas F.M. Barnett, Jr. of Osceola, Otis James Barnett of Blytheville, and Leland Ray Barnett of Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter, Cascelia Elaine Barnett-Burkham of Osceola; three brothers, Cleburne Kelton of Fort Apache, Az., Herman Ray Kelton of Flippin, and Nolin Kelton of Lake Wales, Fla.; two sisters, Regina Gill of Lake Wales, Fla., and Louise Jones of Bella Vista; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Francis Marion Barnett, four brothers, Kenneth Dale Kelton of Salem, William A.L. Kelton Jr. and Leo Kelton, both of Lake Wales, Fla., and Hershel Kelton of Caraway, and a sister, Mary Kelton of Salem.

Services were 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, at Bethel Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ at Osceola with Rev. Bobby Tidwell officiating. Burial was in Dogwood Cemetery, Blytheville.

The family received visitors from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ in Osceola. Faith Funeral Service of Manila was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Tony Barnett, Grant Barnett, Scott Barnett, Brandon Ryckman, Matthew Ervin and Leland Barnett Jr.

Honorary pallbearers were Nicholas Barnett, Thomas Daniel Barnett, Michael Russell, Clinton Barnett, Neal Hinsley, William C. Reding Jr., Kirby Davis and Dustin Davis.
