Gladys Ann Crafton Neubauer

Gladys Ann Crafton Neubauer, 95, of Columbus, Miss., died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, in Columbus. She was a former long-time resident of the Buckeye Community near Leachville and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Hamilton, Miss. Born at Holcomb, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Josie Ballard Busby and was also preceded in death by her husbands, W.E. "Willie" Crafton and Emil Neubauer.

She is survived by a son, Dariel Crafton and his wife, Sheila, of Amory, Miss.; a sister, Leona Polk of West Columbia, Texas; three grandchildren, Chris W. Crafton, Elisha Hickerson, and Michael Steele; and three great-grandchildren, Jeramy Hickerson, Shelby Baggett and Morgan Crafton.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Howard Funeral Chapel in Leachville with Rev. William Piercy officiating. Burial was in Horner Cemetery at Hornersville, Mo.
