Brian Matthew Stallings, 24, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at his residence. He was born on May 7, 1984, at Paragould and lived in Jonesboro two years, formerly of Caraway. He was a graduate of Riverside High School and attended Arkansas State University majoring in physical education and was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rio Fraternity. He was a special assistance coach to Coach Buster Campbell at Riverside High School and enjoyed sports and hunting. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

Survivors include his parents, Ken and Patty Stallings of Caraway; wife, Tiffany Ann Flannigan of Jonesboro; grandparents, Leo and Louise Stallings of Caraway and Betty Brashears of Lepanto; a brother and wife, Ken and Consuelo Stallings of Caraway; three nephews, Matthew Dewayne Stallings, Benjamin Leo Stallings and Andrew Gage Barks; two nieces, Elizabeth Ann Barks and Sydney Lynn Barks.

A celebration of his life was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at Caraway First Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial was Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

Pallbearers were Buster Campbell, Kevin Hall, Matt Owens, Ronald Holt, Mark Emery and Brandon Tyson and honorary pallbearers were the 2008 Riverside senior high basketball team.
