Myra Richardson died Nov. 9, 2008, in Little Rock. She was born on Jan. 20, 1928 in Blytheville to the late Jim Neely and Ethel Mae Krutz. A graduate of Blytheville High School, she spent 15 years working for Montgomery Wards and Sears. She and husband Kenneth moved from Blytheville to Monette where she was a member of Monette First Baptist Church for over 42 years.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth Miller Richardson of Monette; a daughter, Karen Ann Brown and husband, Phil of North Little Rock; a granddaughter, Stacy N. Brown, DVM of Hot Springs; a niece, Brenna Vest and husband Clif of Marion; and two nephews, Gary Gitchell and wife Suzanne of Lakeland, Tenn., and Steven Gitchell of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as a sister, Patty June Gitchell.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Monette First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Auten and Rev. Rusty Bird officiating. Burial will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at Monette First Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Robert Chambers, Hamil Million, Larry Drummond, Bob Blankenship, Franklin Smithee, Ted Finley and Alvis Snider. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Smith, Robert Flannigan, S.D. Bray, Bill Stewart, Bob Myer, Jim Stitz, Bobby Hout, Dorcas Sunday School Class and former M.F.B.C. Acteens.
