Kenneth Oran McDougal, 54, of Vicksburg, Miss., formerly from Manila, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, Miss.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Glenwood Chapel in Vicksburg, Miss., with burial in Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Larry Haggard officiated. Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McDougal was a native of Manila and had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1989. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rosa Lee McDougal and a grand-niece, Lindsey Dawn Thompson.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa McDougal of Vicksburg, Miss.; a daughter, Dianna Renee McDougal of Clinton, Miss.; a brother, Freddie McDougal and wife, Betty, of Enid, Miss.; a sister, Bethyl Kay Staggs and husband, Dan, of Monette; three nephews, James Staggs of Monette, Jo-Keith McDougal of Ohio, Lonnie Groner of Enid, Miss.; two nieces, Stacie Thompson and husband, Kenneth, of Hartsel, Ala., and Lynn Boyett and husband, Mike, of Lake Providence, La. four grandnephews, Blake Thompson, Harley Boyett, Jeremy Boyett and Nicholas Boyett, and a grandniece, Madison Thompson.

Pallbearers were Gary Burns, Ralph Emfinger, Jimmy Moore, Wiley Pritchard, Dean Strittman and Donnie Tedford. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Hyland-Jarmon Lodge 113.
