Grace Wiles Padgett

Grace Wiles Padgett of Crestwood, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at the age of 100. She was born April 9, 1908, in Jonesboro to the late E.H. and Cora Wiles. She moved to the Monette area at an early age. She was a member of the Crestwood First Baptist Church. She was a retired employee from Chrysler.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Ricky and Greg Dworniczak of Michigan, and Linda Goriski of Crestwood; nine great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Padgett; a daughter, Betty Lu Hodges; a sister; three brothers; three stepsisters and three stepbrothers.

The funeral was held Monday, Aug. 18, at the Kutis Affton Chapel in Crestwood, Mo. Interment was in the Sunset Cemetery.
