Benny H. Price

Benny H. Price, 70, of Crossett, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at his residence in Crossett. Mr. Price was a native of Monette and a resident of Crossett for the past 38 years. He worked for the Georgia-Pacific Paper Mill having retired in 1990. He was a member of the South Main Baptist Church and he served in the Arkansas National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eli Hue Price.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sue Barnett Price; a son, Ben Price, and wife, Gena, all of Crossett; his mother, Thelma Cason Price; a sister, Dolores Miller, both of Monette; two grandchildren, Emily and Zachery Price, and two special nieces, Liberty and Brooklyn Snyder.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. July 16 at the South Main Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmie Lewis and Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Burial was in Pinewood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were Chris Evans, Bill Runyan, David Barnett, Jeff Harrison, Pete Murphy and Carl Jeffers. Honorary pallbearers were Zach Price, Phil Clark, Bill Browning, Eddie Mac Watt, Dr. Robert E. Lyon and Keith Swaim.
