Carroll Ray Galloway, 65, of Leachville, died Friday, July 11, 2008, at his home. Born at Leachville, he was the son of the late Edward Monroe and Vela Mae Green Galloway and had lived most of his life in the Leachville-Manila area. He was a retired farmer, co-owner of the Frontier Restaurant in Leachville, and was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Eddy Galloway, on June 20, 2008.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Hitchcock Galloway, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Wanda Galloway, of Leachville; a grandson, Ricky Galloway, of the home; a brother, Jerry Galloway of Hamilton, Texas; two half brothers, Jerald Hatley and his wife, Debbie, of Gulfport, Miss., and Kenneth Hatley of Commanche, Texas; step-granddaughter, Kristy Schrader, two step-great-grandchildren, Zachary Depriest and Matthew Galloway, all of Harrisburg; a special nephew and niece, Gary and Sandra Galloway.

The funeral was 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Gary Galloway officiating. Burial was in Leachville Cemetery.
