Marjorie L. Brinkley Coy, 84 of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of St. Charles, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Mo. She was born Feb. 8, 1923, in Cherry Valley to the late James M. Brinkley and Hester C. Brinkley. She married Millard A. Coy, Aug. 28, 1941, in Paragould. She was a homemaker and of the First Assembly of God faith.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Vincent Rost of Wallace, WV, Janet and Ralph Boucher of Crystal Lake, Ill.; a son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Joyce Coy of Overland Park, Kan.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence, Johnie, Cecil and Macon Brinkley; and sisters, Elsie Pruitt and Modena Vaughn.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, St. Charles, Mo. Interment was in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
