Tillman Dill, 84, of Manila, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at his home. Born at Leachville, he was the son of the late Raliegh and Mable Tanner Dill and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He spent several years in Michigan, returning to Manila in 1962, and was a retired construction company superintendent. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Garvin Wayne Dill, who was killed in action May 25, 1970 in Cambodia; and his wife, Drucill Johnson Dill.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Reba Dill of Manila; three grandchildren, Deadra Arthur of Memphis, Sonny Ray Dill of Manila, and Richie Wilson of Wardell, Mo.; four sisters, Willowdean Jackson of Malden, Mo., Juanita Nicholson of Milton, Fla., Bonnie Sue Butler of Gallatin, Tenn., Alice Dobson of Upland, Ind.; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Ferrel Duffell officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. To sign the online guest register log on to www.howardfuneralservice.com.
